My tannery was once in my bedroom! I was a beginner leather craftsman, it was my hobby. I made simple wallets, card holders, belts and watch straps.
But having a workshop in your bedroom is a bad idea. You need a separate room or at least a garage (basement) for the workshop. But it’s better to have a workshop outside the house to separate work from leisure.
