When working with leather, a lot of pieces are left over. The larger the product, the more pieces are left over. This is especially true when the master is working with die-cuts. What do you do with these scraps?
I work with Shell Cordovan. It’s an expensive material and I don’t want to throw away the leftovers. I’ve been thinking a lot about what to do with the leftover leather. We need recycling ideas.
If the Shell Cordovan scraps are large, you can sell them on Etsy or eBay. For example, if you make cordovan shoes or bags. It’s the most obvious way to reuse!)
