I saw a really neat leather workshop online and it got me thinking: how many artisans are actually willing to show their workspaces? I wasn’t ready, because mine isn’t really a dedicated workshop at all – it’s just one of the rooms in my house. But a great leathercraft working place is a huge plus for high-quality, authentic visual content.

I’ve even had a couple of requests from local photographers who wanted to come and shoot my process just for free. I had to turn them down for the reason mentioned above.

Are there any leatherworkers here who are open to sharing photos of their workshop? Or is everyone like me, making their pieces “on their lap,” so to speak?
