Why is it that if the shoes are made of Shell Cordovan, everyone only knows the Alden brand? I like this stuff. I’ve been looking for Shell Cordovan leather boots on eBay, Etsy and other sites for a long time.
All I can find are Alden boots, shoes and loafers! Why are there no other brands of used shell cordovan shoes for sale? I like Meermin, Trickers and Carmina shoes. But I can’t find them.
If you compare the statistics of Google searches related to “Alden”, it becomes clear why there are so many Alden shoes on the secondary market. The second most popular brand in searches is Viberg shoes. Next are Allen Edmonds shoes.
